House Rules

To create harmony in our studio space, we ask that you abide by a few simple guidelines. We want you to get the most out of your experience while also respecting the experience of others.

We honor your time with us, and we appreciate that you honor our time with you. If you are not able to attend your pre-scheduled class, we respectfully ask that you cancel your session within eight hours of your class. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a $10 fee or loss of purchased class for those using class passes.

  1. BE ON TIME

    • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled class start time. The door will be locked when class starts since it opens directly into the practice space. We want to ensure a peaceful experience for every client.

    • If you arrive late and the curtains are pulled shut and the door is locked, please take the opportunity to do something kind for yourself. We all run late from time to time!

  2. NO SHOES

    • Please remove your shoes at the door and carry them to designated areas.

    • Please leave your shoes off while in the studio.

  3. GET UNPLUGGED

    • No cell phone use in the studio space. Please silence your cell phone and leave it with your other belongings in the cubbies in designated areas.

  4. EMBRACE THE QUIET

    • Please limit conversation inside the practice space before and during class.

  5. KEEP IT CLEAN

    • Minimize personal fragrances and keep good personal hygiene.

    • Please return all props to the closet and help us keep the space clean and organized.

    • If you borrow a mat, please clean with our mat spray and return to prop closet. Feel free to use our all natural mat spray for your own mat if you like.

    • If you’d like to have a water bottle in the practice space please ensure it has a secure lid. Only plain water in the practice space please.

  6. SEE IT THROUGH

    • Observe a Respectful Savasana. If you do for some crazy, out-of-the-ordinary, weird, not-going-to-happen-again-soon, unusual reason need to leave class early, let the teacher know BEFORE CLASS so that he/she can help you to plan your exit.

  7. SHARE THE SPACE

    • In consideration of others, please do not step on other people’s mat and respect the space of others by not placing your mat directly in front of someone else’s. We find it’s best to stagger mats to ensure everyone has adequate space to practice.

  8. HONOR YOUR BODY

    • Try your best without hurting yourself. Consciously, safely, and respectfully stay with the teacher. Be present. Be kind and loving to yourself and respect your body’s limitations as well as its capabilities.

  9. ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE

    • Children age 13 and over may participate in regular classes as long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please do not bring younger children to studio as we do not have a child care service at this time.

    • Booking in advance is preferred for our classes. Please call or email us if you need assistance with booking a class online or our custom app. If you come without booking and the class is full, you’ll be on the waiting list on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you booked for a class but you are not present 5 minutes before class start, your spot will be released to those on the waiting list.

    • Do not leave valuables in your car.

    • Reverie Yoga Center is not responsible for lost or stolen property. All items found will be held in our lost and found until the end of each month, then either discarded or donated to Goodwill.

    • We do not accept bills larger than $20.
